I was surprised to discover that cargo containers have served as places of residence for quite a while now.  While the idea of making a cargo container a home seems outlandish to some, architecture and design firms are able produce some well-designed spaces that are space efficient, as well as environmentally friendly.  I love the idea of using these as a separate work space or airy sanctuary secluded near a body of water.
