Do you have certain colors that you're drawn to, either when you're shopping for clothes or when decorating your home? Are they the same or different?  I've always been drawn to shades of blue because of my love for the ocean (I even have a Pinterest board dedicated to the color blue), but after a look at my closet I realized I don't own one piece of blue clothing.  Go figure.  In the world of fashion, blue hasn't really been in the color trend spotlight (at least not in the past few seasons).  But I've noticed that a more vibrant shade of blue is being used by designers as we move into Fall, which is a refreshing shift from the old standby neutrals of black, navy, gray and camel.

It's amazing how color can have an instant effect on our mood.
According to this color personality quiz, I'm an Earth personality: a "solid, grounded thinker" who likes to surround myself with deep blues, blacks, grays and browns.  I wonder what effect dressing in colors out of my "comfort zone" would have on me. A vibrant blue like the one above is new territory for me, but I'm looking forward to injecting some new colors into my wardrobe.
