Los Angeles Neighborhood Guide: Glendale

Tucked away in Glendale is The Americana at Brand, an outdoor shopping destination where you'll find locals and tourists alike.

First stop: Sprinkles.  Known for cupcakes, they also have...wait for it:  a Moscow Mule Float that's worth trying.

& Other Stories first started out as an online store, and is quickly expanding it's brick and mortar presence.  One step inside and you'll see why - styles are sustainably manufactured and inspired by Paris, Stockholm and Los Angeles.  You'll see everything from whimsical colorful pineapple prints to satin joggers to sleek metallic oxford slides.  It's a cross between Zara and Topshop.

Next, pop into Sugarfina for some champagne gummy bears or a tequila-infused chocolate bar.

For lunch, stop over at Bacari G.D.L., an Italian-inspired restaurant that has hand-crafted pizzas and pastas and an endless wine menu.  The Bacon and Double Cream Brie Pizza with organic tomato sauce and fresh jalapeño is a crowd favorite and worth the wait!

After lunch stroll across the street to the Museum of Neon Art where you can check out colorful works of historic and recent neon signage.
